C2P09 – Draw the Line

|
Whenever Tama’s being a jerk to reasonable people, or refusing to be inked properly, I like to imagine the last time he was foolish enough to let Mizha play with his hair. And whether or not he got bullied into wearing embarrassing clothing to match.
What do you think? We know ribbons were involved, but what else might haunt poor Tama in the corners of his mind, and is it responsible for his terrible taste in trash-heap clothes?

A fluffy, lacy, french maid outfit.
Despite there being no France in this world, I am certain that this is an entirely plausible possibility. Somehow, he probably also developed the accent. It was very traumatizing.
Hmm…perhaps he was tricked into being a dummy for a dress that needed mending, and Mizha got carried away? :3
“What do you mean I’ve sewn you into the dress? Don’t be redic-u–oh…Well…that’s not a problem, right? I mean, the color really brings out your eyes at least!”
Oh, he is such a hardass. He should have laid down the line on barettes, though.
Also, now I’m totally picturing Tama a la Pascal from that scene where Rapunzel stuffs him into a tiny dress. Same pose and everything.
Haha! That is a perfect mental image if I ever did see one. The expression alone would be worth 1,000 laughs.
I am really enjoying the dynamic between these two. XD
I love working with the dynamic between Mizha and Tama. They’re an experiment in opposites, and when one is up the other is typically down. I really enjoy that the issues they struggle with are so similar, but they’ve dealt with their family in completely different ways. For example, Mizha deals with anger all internally, while Tama prefers to externalize his frustration. He pisses off more people, but breaks less mirrors.
Hahaha! At least, he’s being accommodating.
Tama’s just a big softie, deep down. Or at least, whenever his baby sister wants something, he’ll complain, loudly declare the irrationality of it all, and ultimately go along with whatever she wants to do.
