Whew! We made it, and nobody died. Mostly.
OH! Also, I put this video together and then COMPLETELY FORGOT TO POST IT. Because I have the mind of a steel trap. Rusted shut. INSIDE A BLOCK OF CONCRETE.

Very good ending. Now I can’t (but will) wait for Chapter 9, when you come back to these characters again. Yes, I know Ch 6 just ended, but I also know how cruel you are. ;o

This strip is great in showing- as opposed to telling- the price of revelation and healing. The consequences / price of actions or desired goals is often brushed over in modern society. To see characters really pay in ways that matter to them is powerful.
Thank you so much for the kind comment! I’m so glad to see that I’m succeeding in showing, rather than telling! Even as a kid, I was always annoyed by the lack of consequences in film and shows. I used to invent endings of my own in my head, just so that things wouldn’t always end up 100% rosy because the Plot demanded it be so.

It’s good to be loved for one’s evil side. It makes the good side that much more tolerable.
Also, kudos to you for making a dance based on Tai Chi that did not look like waterbending. (I can’t help it. That’s what I think every time I see it. That’s how much Avatar is in my head.)
Am I the only one that doesn’t feel like it’s really a cliffhanger but a really great spot to end the chapter?

I’m dancing out of it here…but that doesn’t mean this is the last we hear about it. I guess I didn’t find the immediate consequences nearly as interesting as the ones that are coming…
