C2P29 – Powerful Men

There are nine Provinces in Itsuri, each governed on behalf of the High Sage by a Steward. You can read a little about each of the Provinces in the Language Guide and learn how each Province name is pronounced. They all have crests that highlight on something unique about their Province, and the power struggles between them are a constant source of tension within the empire.

I get the feeling that this isn’t going to end well…
Two powerful politicians crashing into one another and scattering very important paperwork all over the place in a stuffy, crowded train-station in the middle of summer…What could possibly go wrong?
I like the panel that shows things in “normal” colors so we get a sense of perspective.
Also, in my head, Pakku now talks with RDJ’s British accent now. Just so you know.
The color change can be pretty disorienting, so just for my own reference I thought it was good to provide a point of comparison.
And the accent you’ve chosen is officially PERFECT.
I really like how you are doing these “detective” word bubbles.
I had a lot of fun designing Pakku’s thought/analysis bubbles. I kinda want everyone to have their own unique bubble…I just hope I don’t lose track of them all!
Pakku is awesome because he notices micro-details about the world around him like I do; he may even notice things about people they don’t even notice themselves.
Pakku is always fun for me to write, because he can see everything, and at the same time, nothing at all. It’s a fantastic challenge for me as a writer!
