C2P12 – Disgraceful

I’ve always been fascinated by language, so I knew when I made the world for LeyLines that I wanted it to have its own phrases, words, and writing. I had a lot of fun creating the material for Zhiro’s journal, and yes, it does all mean something. In fact, if you could decipher it, it might even contain spoilers…

Well gee, what’s this? A language guide? How’d that get there…?

I’d also like to point out that this page uses 3-point-perspective. I’d never tried it before, and it took me about four attempts before I figured out how to do it. People who follow me on Twitter probably remember me tearing out my hair working on it. I know this particular shot isn’t exactly spectacular, but I was so proud of myself for rising to a new challenge and developing new skills! And look, the floor isn’t even invisible (unlike attempt #2)! How great is that??
