I was just thinking the same thing. I think it’s the tongue sticking out–it makes me think of a fat puppy. There is little that breaks a serious mood better than a fat puppy. Good thing everyone else looks so dour.
Good thing. Otherwise we might need a Drama Button in here. Thank goodness for fat puppy comedy.
I like this cover design a lot. I find the mask theme you’re setting up very interesting so far, along with the sort of folklore it seems to stem from.
I’m pretty much obsessed with masks. They’re one of my favorite symbols!
