C06P03 – Mystery’s Bane

The only reason you can’t see the family resemblance is because Zhiro’s unconscious, Kali. If he was awake, the constant ribbing and subtle harassment would give it away.
Also – Yay context! Finally some of the lines for the LeyLines Trailer make some sense. I was in a bit of a pickle, because I didn’t want to spoil anything for those auditioning, but still needed to get the lines in. Speaking of which — the 15th is the LAST DAY to send in your auditions to me at !! Can’t wait to hear your lovely voices!!

Uh-oh. Mystery’s Bane, doesn’t sound good. Still, I’m glad to see all three of them are mostly all right.
Miraculously, in some cases. Tama does have a remarkable amount of good luck. Golly, I wonder if that will ever run out for him. *bats eyelashes innocently*
It does him credit to claim such…I applaud him. Here’s hoping that the help she speaks of is indeed help!
Tama does have strong convictions about some things, and one of them is his siblings! A tiny core of selflessness under all that self-interest.
I want to take that second panel and re-do Tama’s dialog with “Bitch. Please.” because that’s totally the look he’s giving her. XD
Yes, well, he is TRYING to be polite. For Mizha and Zhiro’s sake, if nothing else. See? Tama CAN mind his manners. If things are desperate.
The art just keeps getting better and better, Robin! And Mystery’s Bane sounds awesome, like she’s stuck in-between illusion and reality…
Thank you so much, Jande! I liked the phrase “Mystery’s Bane” too. I always thought of the light/dark gods as “mysteries” – that’s their old name, and it’s much more appropriate than the word “god” which is applied to them now.
You’re so good at perspective!
(I think I like Tama/Kali because she seems to be able to match his stupid with sheer no-nonsense awesome.)
Oh! Thank you! I’ve been trying to challenge myself as much as possible, because I don’t feel I’m as skilled at perspective as I’d like. I’m glad that the effort is paying off!
