“I promise not to disappear again,” he says, seconds before dashing off at top speed.

Several of you have let me know that submitting comments have been BUGGY AS HECK in the past few weeks. I’ve been trying to figure out the problem with my tech neanderthal brain. The rock bashing was not super successful. So then I asked my very smart friend Christina Major, of Sombulus, and she gave me some very helpful lines of inquiry to follow.

Lo and behold, the plugin I’d been using to enable emails to be sent out when somebody replies to a comment was a whopping SEVEN YEARS out of date. When I’d recently updated PHP/Wordpress stuff, it ceased to be compatible with the newest version.

SO: Hopefully posting a comment now will not spit out an error. If you see something weird, PLEASE let me know so I can try to figure out what’s going on.

In the meantime, I’ll be looking into alternatives to the old plugin so that we can get the notification feature back. I appreciate your patience while I continue to technologically bash rocks. Thank you to the folks that reported the problem and to Christina for helping me figure out the root cause!

I am still very sad about the current line of events. I am still sure that this absolutely will not blow up further. But… at least they weren’t separated for long?

Yes, everything is fine. Just like it was in chapter one. Alllllllllllll fine. Now and forever.

You know, if you keep saying that, Robin, someday everything will be fine, and no-one will believe you. It will be just like the story of the one magical day when everything went wrong and it wasn’t Tama’s fault.

okay now that I know this will go where I hope….
Yeah he’s further cementing in my mind that he dropped her like a hot rock on purpose to go do something REALLY Shady…. LOL

What? Shady? From a fellow that claims to have learned things such as “grave-digging” and such? I mean, digging up a grave and digging a hole for a grave are both a form of grave-digging, right? He surely meant one and not the other. Surely. Seeing as he’s such a forthright individual.
