Every now and again I like to experiment with two-page spreads. It’s a particularly interesting challenge for a comic that needs to work both online and in print. The two pages have to work separately for online reading, but also together for print reading. Add in an unusual panel layout, and the challenge also increases. So I’m particularly pleased with how these two pages (36 & 37) turned out. This is how they’ll look together when they get printed in the book:
I think the layout works pretty well, whether together or apart. Nice to flex those page composition skills every now and again!
