Typos happen to the best of us, Pakku…well, okay, maybe not YOU…unless you count incorrectly assuming pirates are out to kill you, but that’s hardly germane to this discussion, right? Right.

Typos are my personal nemesis. I always miss at least a few things, no matter how hard I look. I think my brain knows what something SHOULD be, so it puts in what it wants to see, rather than what is actually there. I asked several additional people to help me look through volume three this time, so I’m hopeful that there are no glaring errors in the next LeyLines volume. Oddly enough, it’s always super easy to spot them as soon as there’s nothing I can do to change them. It’s like they have some sort of cloaking spell active during the editing stage…

Have you ever been tripped up by a typo?

Thank you everyone that stopped by our table this weekend at Rocky Mountain Con! Very laid back, community feeling to this convention, and it was wonderful to meet so many delightful and fun people. If you followed a sketch card or flier here, welcome! I hope you enjoy exploring the archives. Feel free to leave a comment on your journey through the story. 🙂

It’s easy to spot because your brain automatically views the finished product as a different thing entirely from the proofs and electronic files, which means you’re looking at it with completely fresh eyes for probably the first time in months. A cruel irony, that. (Try reading every sentence backwards. That helps me.)
