I think Una’s imagination far outpaced the reality. Or Lu’s playing a joke on her. Either’s fairly likely, really.

I’ve already mentioned this on social media, but it bears repeating. I wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to all the Patrons supporting on Patreon these past few months. Right now they’re covering the costs of color blocking for each LeyLines page. In case you’re curious what color blocking (also called flatting) is:

Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it takes a lot of time and work to do. By having color blockers, hours and hours of time are saved every week. In fact, without Sorrel, Phantom, and Lewis helping me with this part of the process, I don’t think I would have been able to keep up with even two pages a week. Things have just been too chaotic, and my depression since March has been too high. They’ve kept us going through all of it, and the Patrons have kept them a part of the process. So THANK YOU Patrons!! If you’d like to join them, please check out the Moko Press Patreon page!

I’ve overhauled the goals for Patreon, and in the next few weeks I’m going to start overhauling the reward levels as well. I’ve been brainstorming different options and I think I’ve come up with a good mix that hopefully will entice and entertain!

Why do I get the feeling that the orphanage is a front for the best spies in the world? I dunno, maybe I’ve been spoiled by oldey-timey mysteries and Lord Peter Wimsey’s “Typing bureau”, but in my experience the more dilapidated and harmless it looks the more plot-relevant, important, and canny it is.

You guys are all cracking me up. I have successfully made my entire readership paranoid. Victory is mine! Bwahaha!

My previous response to this comment tells me two things.

1. That says things aobut my personality that make me squirm uncomfortably.

2. I think Dream Eater and I would get along quite well and I don’t know whether I’m scared or excited by that.
