Have you ever made a decision based purely on a gut reaction? How did it turn out?

I’ve found that whenever I listen to my gut it always pays off. Sometimes it’s for good things, like when Cory & I bought our house. Other times, it’s a little scarier. For example, a man in a grocery store struck up conversation and I got a strong DANGER DANGER DANGER feeling. I sprinted out of the store to my car and drove all through town in circles just to make sure I wasn’t followed. I felt so foolish when I got home. Surely I had been over-reacting! Except a week later I learned my professor had gotten into a physical altercation with a man matching exactly the description of one I had met. Why? Because the guy had nearly assaulted his 16-year-old daughter! Coincidence? I think not. Thank you, gut feeling!!

Thank you to everyone that’s purchased the book from the Moko Press Store!! It’s been such a rush to pack each order up! Like letting a flock of birds go free! I’ve been having particular fun with the artist editions. Here’s photos of two of my favorites so far:

Aw, see, Renar is being all nice to Warren, so the chances that he is evil and is behind the kidnapping have just increased. 🙂

Hmm, I wonder what Pakku would look like sketched in one of the AEs…

ooo a bit of redemption in his brother’s words. Nice…nice to get support from unexpected places!

I really like both brothers right now. This is the kind of stuff I adore. …And yet I don’t like most mysteries. Hm.

A gut decision led me to my college, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

I was never a huge fan of mysteries until I started reading Sherlock Holmes. Now I quite enjoy them!

College can be a great thing. For me, it was the people that were important, more than the schooling. What do you think is the most important about it for you?

My problem with mysteries is that I usually figure them out way before I’m supposed to. Too much Nancy Drew in my wee days, I suppose.

Right now, the best thing about college is the freedom to actually do what I want with my life. But the people and the schooling are both really awesome.

Renar, you know exactly what you are doing, don’t you? (I like that Renar hasn’t asked WTH happened to Warren.)

The main place I trust my instincts is with my writing, even when my instincts say, “Yeah, you’re gonna have to scrap this all and start over once you’ve finished.” Although I’m not sure if that counts.

Oh, it better count. My instincts dictate about 78% of all of my writing. Usually in the “NOPE. Nope, nope, nope. You messed it up, try again,” kind of way. Unfortunately, they never provided HOW to fix things. I guess that’s the conscious mind’s job…
