I taught my first after-school class this week! I thought I would share the slides I used. A lot of it is very basic, but I confess when I first started LeyLines I didn’t stop to think about these things. Hence why Tama so badly needed a redesign. I learned these the hard way…when people started mixing up characters and getting confused as to who was who. Augh, Pakku and Vekken, I’m so very sorry.

It’s something I’ve since paid a lot more attention to, and I hope that it shows in future character designs with new cast members. Don’t make my mistakes! Think about shape, variety, and iconic design BEFORE you make your first page!
