C07P24 – Poorly
Tama. Spreading his ill-temper to everyone he possibly can. He’s a sharer, that boy.
My first convention of the season is quickly approaching: Animeland Wasabi here in Denver, on March 1-3! I’ve never tried a booth at an Anime convention for any of my projects before. I’m very curious to see how it goes. I’m hoping the crowd is open to something that’s not strictly “Anime Style.” We’ll see how it goes! I’ve been running around all day trying to make sure I have everything I need. I usually do a mock-up booth before an event, just to get a rough idea of how it will look. Since I’ll be sharing a table this time, I’ve put together a compressed set-up. Here’s what I’m thinking for it!

Looks Great, Miss Robin Not that I’m surprised . Good luck at the convention!
Thank you! Hopefully it all goes well!
Wish you luck on the convention! I hope you get good audience vibes as well!
Ah, Tama…way to throw that back in her face – that’ll win you points. Yup…it certainly will! HEh…
Tama and diplomacy are not yet friends. That much we can say with certainty.
You draw things, and they’re pretty. I think you’ll be good.
Yeahhhh… I really don’t want Tama to be the Scion at this point either. He apparently has the problem-solving abilities of a two-year-old. Although that might be just a result of having to argue with his sister.
It’s been pretty clear for a long time that Tama was not a particularly good candidate for head of state, but it’s not clear that there are many good alternatives either. His father is a hardass who’s poorly connected with his own people and even his own capital city. A few nobles have passed through who seem to have their shit together, as much as that’s possible, but there may not be a non-disruptive way to hand them the crown (or whatever they use as a symbol of rule around here).
I concur. Everybody here is pretty shifty. (I have to wonder who the mercenaries want to install in place of Tama. Dr. Milan is too clinical to want all-out civil war. Unless he thought his side could win.)
I mean, Tama’s got his heart in the right place. Sort of. He just needs to pull his head out of his ass.
You guys make me so rediculously happy when you start to debate this kind of thing. Not to mention, are incredibly impressive with your attention to detail and deductions!!
Actually, for someone raised in a position of privilege, that was a pretty mild tantrum. Not that it reflects well on his character and relationship with his sister, as he almost seems to realize.
Have a great time at Wasabi!
True. Tama’s nannies and care-takers from when he was little would probably marvel at his restraint and maturity.
Looks really great, Robin
. Good luck at Wasabi.
I’d like to go to a big name convention sometime. We’ve had smaller types here, but nothing really big and spectacular, like in Tulsa or Kansas City.
You had me going for a moment actually. In the mall, there is a restaurant named Wasabi, with lots of room if you would take out the tables. For a moment there, I thought you meant you were coming here, and there was going to be a convention in the restaurant’s space
.

That’s not so far-fetched, actually. I’m messing with the idea of reserving a space at a restaurant in MD for a big fantasy & friends meet-up during Intervention in August. So that could be like a mini-restaurant con!
